Volunteers wanted for these teams

Do you enjoy attending arts and culture events, such as performances, exhibitions, festivals, reading clubs, etc.?

Do you enjoy mingling with Francophones and experiencing Francophone culture even though you don’t fully master the language?

Do you value Sudbury’s bilingual and multicultural environment and enjoy being a part of the experience?

Then you’ll enjoy being a member of the amazing teams of devoted and valued volunteers who support Place des Arts and its seven founding arts organizations.

Fundraising Committee

Help to plan, organize and promote fundraising activities, including Place des Arts’ annual gala.

Maintenance

Minor repairs and painting
Light housekeeping
Exterior/interior maintenance

Usher / Ticket Scanner

Performance Venues

Welcome spectators and lead them to their seat in the main performance hall, La Grande Salle, ensuring their comfort and safety
Scan tickets and manage the flow of people at the hall entrance
Remain in Le Studio Desjardins (scanners) or in La Grande Salle (ushers) during the performance in case spectators need urgent assistance
Set up and clean workspaces and performance venues
