Box Office Policy

To access the venues, all audience members need a valid ticket for the date and time of the performance.

Latecomers

Latecomers will not be admitted in the venue once the performance has begun. Tickets will not be refunded. Please check the location, time and date of your performance in advance.

Shows for an adult audience

Babes in arms are not allowed in the theatre. For the comfort and satisfaction of other audience members attending a performance for adults, we ask that you not be accompanied by children under the age of thirteen. Depending on the nature of the show, children may be refused access to the theatre without refund. Please check with our Box Office before purchasing your tickets. Parents can be asked to leave the theatre with their children if the latter bother other audience members during the show. Tickets will not be refunded.

Shows for young audiences

All children or groups of children who attend a performance at the Place des Arts must be accompanied by an adult.

Access for people with reduced mobility and guide dogs

People with reduced mobility will receive an attentive welcome. Guide dogs are also welcomed at the Place des Arts. Please advise our staff when you purchase your tickets.

Pricing

Measures are put in place to insure that information shared on our Web site, in our promotional tools and other forms of communications are up-to-date and correct. In case of a disparity between ticket information posted online or in print and given by Box Office staff, the latter has priority. Information shared on our Web site can be modified.

Special rate

You will need to show a valid piece of I.D. at the Box Off to obtain a ticket rate other than the regular one (i.e. students, seniors, etc.).

Accepted methods of payment

A credit card is required to buy online or by phone. Cash, credit (V & M) and debit card payments are accepted in person at the Box Office.

Taxes and service fees

The harmonized sales tax (HST) is included in all ticket prices. A/Some service fee/s are added on every ticket depending on the producer’s choice.

Refunds and exchanges

For shows with multiple performances, customers can exchange their tickets for another evening if seating is available. The exchange must occur before a certain number of days of the date of the original show. (See ticket sale page on the web for more information).

Cancellation of a show

In case of the cancellation of a show or performance by the producer or presenter, Point of sale will refund the cost of the ticket (partially or totality depending on whether the producer absorbs the service fees). The refund will be given by the same method of payment used at the purchase.

The producer reserves the right to make program changes.

Photographs and recordings

It is strictly forbidden for audience members to photograph or record performances. Breaching this rule may lead to refused access or eviction from the venue.

Respect of other audience members

Please think of others. Anyone who disturbs other audience members may be asked to leave the venue. Employees can refuse access to the theatre or evict an audience member without refund.

We kindly remind you that perfumes and colognes can provoke allergic reactions. A drop of perfume is nice, no perfume at all is even better.

It is forbidden to smoke on the Place des Arts property.
