Enlightening Talks for Evolving Times

Remarkable guests.
Resonant voices.
At Place des Arts.

These high-profile talks by prominent, inspiring and enlightening arts and culture personalities unlock doors to the future as they discuss key issues for our times, including our relationship with indigenous people.

Their creative work and innovative discourse inspire self-renewal through the sharing of mutually respected identities.

The series will begin in October with Tomson Highway the celebrated playwright, novelist, pianist and composer who hails from northern Manitoba and has become one of Canada’s foremost indigenous artists. In November, the series welcomes the author, communicator and highly regarded speaker Jesse Wente, who is the board president of the Canada Council for the Arts. In December, the series features Marc Mayer, an expert in the field of contemporary art and a member of the Order of Canada for his contributions in the field, who is originally from Sudbury.

Simultaneous translation will be available, to French or English, as the case may be.
