Laboratory: C + C (Théâtre Rouge Écarlate)

What happens when you confront a classic of Russian literature, when you put these 700 pages in a blender so that the original work is unrecognizable, because you see it more as a material to be dissected and reworked? When we blur the boundaries between reality and fiction and nightmare? When we multiply the voices and the polyphony of points of view in a logic of fragments, in a game of echoes and distortions? When we touch on the themes of imprisonment, poverty, fever and sweat, struggle and combat, death/murder? This provides a rich space for exploration for two creators who are still trying to answer these questions.
This will be C+C’s fifth participation in the Feuilles Vives program?
