45, de la taupinière
For children aged 2½ to 6, the final performance of the season will be “45, de la taupinière” (45, from the Molehill) by Théâtre des petites âmes. Following in her grandfather’s footsteps, Margot the explorer discovers the hill where the mushroom-shaped tree lives. In the shade of the large, hooded plant, the young girl meets Billy, a mischievous and friendly boy. The two friends quickly witness mysterious phenomena.
What if the mushroom-shaped tree had powers? What if a whole secret world existed beneath the hill’s surface? To punctuate their adventures and bring everything to life with original music, a young cohort of artists from Collège Lionel-Groulx will be studying theatre performance and musical composition. This whimsical show skillfully blends theatre and puppetry and is sure to captivate audiences of all ages.
